About Arrivy

Alex Wood, Founder of Arrivy

Originally from London, Alex has spent the past six years in Norwich, working closely with local taxi companies before founding Arrivy.

Through my experience in the industry, I identified a significant gap—an opportunity to introduce a service that is more adaptable to customer needs, more affordable for passengers, and more rewarding for drivers. Having engaged with many people in the community and observed how traditional taxi firms operate, I realized that both passengers and drivers deserved a better system.

With this in mind, Arrivy was designed to offer a seamless and efficient booking experience through our app, allowing customers to request a ride in just a few seconds.

I am fortunate to have my brother, Harry Wood, join this journey as the developer behind Arrivy. With his expertise, we have ambitious plans to introduce innovative features that will enhance the overall experience for both drivers and passengers.

Future Vision

In the near future, we will be implementing advanced AI assistance capable of handling multiple inquiries, managing bookings, and processing cancellations efficiently. This will allow us to focus on further improving our service—offering even more rewards for our customers while maintaining low commission rates for our driver partners.
